Credit: Supplied<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Thirty-seven car parking bays will need to be removed to make way for the outlet, which will include a drive-through. Ten car parks will be provided for the new cafe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The project was granted a waiver from public consultation under a City of Stirling local planning policy, as its value falls below the $2.5 million threshold and because of the site\u2019s commercial context and nearby fast-food outlets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">City of Stirling officers said in their recommendation report that they believe the development does not compromise traffic safety or parking adequacy and is appropriate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cThe proposal involves converting an underutilised car park into an active commercial space, introducing landscaping and public art, and contributing to improving the overall amenity of the precinct,\u201d city officers said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cIt supports the objectives of the mixed-use zone and the Mirrabooka town centre special control area by creating local employment, enhancing economic activity, and aligning with the broader vision of the activity centre plan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/0d56692ad82ae674cb4d3bc70be4da2e18411e74.jpg\" alt=\"Where the proposed Mirrabooka Starbucks is set to be built. \" class=\"css-16r7l45-StyledImage en5ut4d0\"\/>Camera IconWhere the proposed Mirrabooka Starbucks is set to be built.
