EDMONTON \u2014 Alex Tuch<\/a> scored the winner just 33 seconds into overtime as the Buffalo Sabres<\/a> got a rare road win, coming away with a 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Josh Doan<\/a> had a pair of goals and Tage Thompson<\/a> had a goal and two assists for the Sabres (12-14-4), who snapped a three-game losing skid and improved to 3-9-2 on the road. Rasmus Dahlin<\/a> had three assists.<\/p>\n

Connor McDavid<\/a> had a pair of goals, including one with two seconds left in the third to force overtime, and Vasily Podkolzin<\/a> also scored for the Oilers (13-11-6) who had a modest two-game winning streak halted.<\/p>\n

Colten Ellis<\/a> saved all six shots he faced in the Sabres\u2019 net before leaving the game late in the first due to an injury and being replaced by Alex Lyon<\/a>, who made 21 saves. Stuart Skinner<\/a> made 24 stops in goal for Edmonton.<\/p>\n

However the Sabres won it just 33 seconds into overtime as two players committed to Ryan McLeod<\/a>, who spotted Tuch all alone in front and he scored his 11th.<\/p>\n

KEY STAT<\/p>\n

For some reason the Oilers seem to struggle with Buffalo. Not only were they humbled 5-1 by the Sabres in Buffalo on Nov. 17, they have only managed to go 8-7-5 against them in their last 20 games despite the large disparity in their overall records during that time span.<\/p>\n
