After what might be his best four-game stretch as an NBA pro, Warriors guard Pat Spencer is soaking it all in.<\/p>\n

In an interview<\/a> with 95.7 The Game\u2019s \u201cSteiny & Guru\u201d show, Spencer revealed that he often does not recall what comes out of his mouth during his electric celebrations on the court.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s messed up. I black out when I have those moments,\u201d Spencer told hosts Matt Steinmetz and Daryle \u201cGuru\u201d Johnson. \u201cEveryone\u2019s repeating it back to me, but it\u2019s almost as if I don\u2019t remember it.\u201d<\/p>\n Recently, there has been plenty for Spencer to celebrate. The 29-year-old two-way guard is averaging 16 points per game on 59.1-percent shooting over his last four contests, helping to stabilize the Warriors\u2019 attack in Stephen Curry\u2019s<\/a> absence.<\/p>\n But it\u2019s more than just statistics driving \u201cSpen-sanity\u201d. Spencer also is making a name for himself in the trash-talk game, punctuating his biggest shots and moments<\/a> with a solid dose of swag\u2014even if all of it doesn\u2019t register.<\/p>\n \u201cLook, I\u2019m competitive,\u201d Spencer told Steinmetz and Johnson. \u201cI get in those moments\u2026that\u2019s what you live for as a competitor. So, I hope I\u2019m not being judged by what I\u2019m saying in those moments.\u201d<\/p>\n The Warriors undoubtedly would accept any potential \u201cjudgement\u201d in exchange for Spencer maintaining this level of play. With coach Steve Kerr\u2019s rotation in flux<\/a>, the former lacrosse standout<\/a> has a chance to solidify his NBA future\u2014and standing among basketball\u2019s best trash-talkers\u2014with continued solid play.<\/p>\n
