Two Metallica fans in Australia got a lifetime ban from the Optus Stadium in Perth for their antics during a performance from the iconic heavy metal group. <\/p>\n

PerthNow reports<\/a> that Beau William Loch Rollings, 20, and Rory Hugh Culbert, 23, jumped a safety barrier and climbed up the central tower inside the stadium during Metallica\u2019s Nov. 1 concert. <\/p>\n

The pair were between 10 and 50 meters high for about 20 minutes during the show before they climbed down. <\/p>\n

Once on the ground they were arrested by venue staff and police while thousands of people in the audience watched. <\/p>\n

Police later seized the pair\u2019s phones, which contained video footage of their climb up the tower. <\/p>\n

They were both charged with trespass by summons and pleaded guilty at their hearing. Rollings was fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $308.80 in court costs, Billboard said<\/a>. Culbert was fined a similar amount.<\/p>\n

As a result of their actions, Rollings and Culbert have been permanently banned from the stadium.<\/p>\n

Magistrate Ruth Dineen called their actions \u201can incredibly stupid thing to do and a good way to ruin your night out.\u201d <\/p>\n
