The NFL’s Week 15 matchup between the Green Bay Packers<\/a> and Denver Broncos<\/a> will be a matchup between two division front-runners and playoff contenders. The game will be played in Denver, where the Broncos<\/a> are winners of 11 straight at home.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, oddsmakers aren’t backing Denver, who come into the game as home underdogs<\/a>. It’s nothing new, however, as the Broncos<\/a> were also home underdogs<\/a> to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11.<\/p>\n

Broncos<\/a> quarterback Bo Nix was asked about their status as underdogs against the Packers<\/a> after Wednesday’s practice. Nix gave a short, hilarious response.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t really care,” Nix said. “My mom thinks we\u2019ll win, so that\u2019s all that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The belief that the Broncos can win any game has permeated throughout their locker room, starting at the top with head coach Sean Payton. “I don\u2019t really pay attention to (odds),” Payton said when asked about being an underdog. “We know we\u2019re playing a good football team, so that\u2019s something that we have no control over. We have four tough opponents the next four weeks, three of the four of them are at home.”<\/p>\n

Payton implored Broncos<\/a> Country to make Green Bay uncomfortable at every moment on Sunday. “We\u2019re counting on our crowd this week, not just at the line of scrimmage, but while they\u2019re in the huddle,” Payton said. “I go back to a few weeks ago<\/a> and\u2026 That communication that exists from the opponent when they\u2019re in the huddle, you\u2019d be surprised when some teams, stadiums, have it figured out, that the quarterback to the group in the huddle, it all gets blurry. You have problems. I thought our last home game with Kansas City was significant. I\u2019m counting on it being at an even higher level.”<\/p>\n

Broncos fans will need to show up in a big way in Week 15, against a perennial playoff contender.<\/p>\n
