{"id":341047,"date":"2025-12-11T05:51:21","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T05:51:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/341047\/"},"modified":"2025-12-11T05:51:21","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T05:51:21","slug":"queensland-health-workers-lock-in-8-pay-rise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/341047\/","title":{"rendered":"Queensland Health workers lock in 8% pay rise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than 38,000 Queensland public sector health workers have secured a certified agreement with the government.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A majority of staff at Queensland Health and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce accepted the government\u2019s offer in a ballot for a wage increase of 8% over three years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The terms of the agreement include the option of activating a CPI uplift adjustment and are in line with the state\u2019s public sector wages policy (3%, 2.5%, 2.5%).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional incentives are included in the agreement for administrative, operational, professional and technical employees, with night shift allowance increases, leave loading improvements and enhanced part-time working arrangements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"More than 38,000 Queensland public sector health workers have secured a certified agreement with the government.
