<\/p>\nSamantha Armytage has divulged the secrets behind her \u201cgorgeous\u201d appearance after fans gushed that she is ageing \u201clike Benjamin Button\u201d and \u201clooks younger\u201d than ever in the comments of her latest Instagram post.<\/p>\n
The Channel Nine star has had a transformative year, including a major operation, the breakdown of her marriage, and her move to the Nine Network after being a fixture on Channel Seven for more than 20 years.<\/p>\n
Opening up about her new look, Armytage, 49, revealed she\u2019s feeling \u201cstrong, healthy, happy\u201d and \u201cat a really nice time\u201d in her life.<\/p>\n

She explained that her health overhaul came after she finally underwent a hip replacement in July 2024, following years of agonising pain.<\/p>\n
The Golden Bachelor presenter had been suffering from debilitating osteoarthritis in her right hip after she \u201ctore all the cartilage\u201d in a skiing accident 30 years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the lead up to [the hip replacement], the last couple of years, I haven\u2019t been that active because I had been in a lot of pain.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had a major operation last year, and from that, I sort of woke up out of that, literally feeling a bit renewed and refreshed, and not in chronic pain,\u201d Armytage told Chrissie Swan in October.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been doing lots of yoga ever since, because when you have a joint replaced, you don\u2019t want to have the other joints replaced.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe all get to this age where things start to change and creak. So I\u2019ve just been working on fitness and health,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Armytage said she never set out to transform the way she looks, but noted that \u201cwhen you feel good, you look good\u201d.<\/p>\n
It comes after the former Sunrise star confirmed her split from husband Richard Lavender<\/a> last year, after four years of marriage.<\/p>\n Announcing the news in December 2024, Armytage said the split was \u201camicable\u201d, but that the breakdown of her marriage had been \u201chard\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking one year on, Armytage described 2025 as a new chapter with \u201ca lot of change\u201d.<\/p>\n Not only is she going through a divorce, but she\u2019s also grappled with the death of her beloved dog, learned to walk again, and navigated the move from Channel Seven to Channel Nine.<\/p>\n \u201cLast year was a big year. There was a lot of change and a lot of grief. [My dog] was my baby. Then I had a total hip replacement, and I literally had to learn to walk again.<\/p>\n \u201cI left my marriage, renovated a house from my hospital bed, changed TV networks, changed jobs.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I moved into 2025 in such a positive way. I feel this is my Act Two. I get another go here,\u201d she said on the Something to Talk About podcast in October.<\/p>\n Armytage is currently filling in as a host on Channel Nine’s Today show<\/a> alongside radio star Michael Wipfli.
