They had previously risen 22 per cent this year as the company is increasingly perceived by investors as a winner from the AI boom. Its stock market capitalisation of $3.8 trillion is second only to US chipmaker Nvidia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall\">Microsoft for the first time disclosed revenue specifically from its Azure cloud computing division, which it said rose 34 per cent to a record $75 billion in the company\u2019s fiscal year, which ended in June.
