Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy Z TriFold in South Korea a few days ago. The company’s tri-folding phone became available for purchase in the country today and was sold out in minutes. This is surprising, as the phone is extremely costly and is a first-generation product in its category.

The Galaxy Z TriFold is priced at KRW 3.59 million (around $2,436) in South Korea for the 512GB version. Earlier today, it went on sale in the country through 20 of Samsung’s major retail stores. This drew long queues of dozens of people outside each store, and the phone sold out within minutes at all the available locations.
