WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. \u2013 Following completion of the fall schedule, the No. 5-ranked Wake Forest women’s golf team, as well as several Demon Deacon alumnae, have continued to excel on the collegiate and professional level.<\/p>\n
This past Tuesday, three Demon Deacon alumni earned their LPGA Tour cards for the 2026 season: Lauren Walsh<\/a> (’23), Mimi Rhodes<\/a> (’24), Carolina Chacarra<\/a> (’25). They join fellow Wake Forest alum Jennifer Kupcho (’19) on the tour to compete and play at some of the premier courses in the world.<\/p>\n On Nov. 12, 2025, Wake Forest women’s golf Tony and Vi Golding head coach Kim Lewellen<\/a> and Lyons Family associate head coach Ryan Potter<\/a> announced the signing of Benedicte Brent-Petersen, Vidhi Lakhawala and Havanna Torstensson for 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n The three members of the class of 2026 all boast impressive resumes, including participation in the Junior Solheim Cup, a First Team Rolex All-American selection and representation on the Swedish National Team.<\/p>\n Senior Anne-Sterre den Dunnen made her LPGA debut this past November at the ANNIKA presented by Gainbridge<\/a> as a sponsor exemption received during the Demon Deacons’ team victory this past September at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate. She shot an even par through the first two rounds, which saw her make the cut and round her rookie outing at T56 among some of the nation’s best female golfers.<\/p>\n Sophomore Chloe Kovelesky<\/a> and graduate student Morgan Ketchum<\/a> earned spots on the ANNIKA Award final fall watchlist.<\/a> Kovelesky secured an individual title at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate and a runner-up finish at the Stephens Cup the following weekend. Ketchum currently ranks No. 23 on Scoreboard’s individual rankings after placing in the top 15 or better in all four fall tournaments.<\/p>\n The Demon Deacons return to action for their spring slate on Feb. 15, 2026, at the Moon Golf Invitational.
