Jansen slashed .215\/.321\/.399 last season, splitting time between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Milwaukee Brewers. He has a career .220\/.310\/.415 slash line and 100 wRC+. Jansen is not considered to be a good framer, but otherwise is fine defensively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Less than half an hour ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6885854\/2025\/12\/12\/mets-stearns-cohen-alonso-schwarber-robert-offseason-mlb\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ken Rosenthal and Will Sammon posted a notes column<\/a> at the Athletic that mentioned that the Rangers were in contact with the agents for Victor Caratini and Danny Jansen.
