Madeleine Wheeler, 31, and Alexander Johnson, 40<\/p>\n

Music teacher Madeleine and project manager Alexander met back in 2017 while employed as bar and waitstaff at Mandoon Winery.<\/p>\n

They had a busy few years living in North West WA, and thereafter New South Wales\u2019 snowy mountains, before Alexander popped the question by a waterfall in the Blue Mountains.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, this is the worst waterfall, but you\u2019re the best woman \u2014 will you marry me?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

But after being away from family for six years, the couple decided to move back to Western Australia and host their wedding in Manjimup surrounded by their nearest and dearest.<\/p>\n

As a self-confessed Disney and Pixar fan, Madeleine walked down the aisle to a string duo playing Married Life from the movie Up.<\/p>\n

There was an afternoon tea after the ceremony, which made guests feel like they were starring in Bridgerton.<\/p>\n

When and where<\/p>\n

Madeleine and Alexander\u2019s wedding day took place on November 8, 2025, at Memories Garden (ceremony) and The Heritage Park Roundhouse (reception), Manjimup.<\/p>\n

Attire<\/p>\n

The bride had always dreamt of wearing a two-piece outfit, and dressmaker Glenda Dann from Gidgegannup brought her vision to life. The groom found his suit at M.J. Bale.<\/p>\n

The newlyweds will embark on their honeymoon to Cambodia and Vietnam in 2026.<\/p>\n
