\n\tAs Vin Diesel<\/a> goes full throttle toward the Fast & Furious<\/a> grand finale, he\u2019s expanding the franchise\u2019s star-studded extended cast with the onscreen debut of a global star.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Friday, the producer and star of the action movies announced that he has a role for Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> in the upcoming 12th and final installment Fast X: Part 2<\/a>, set for an April 2027 premiere<\/a>, sharing the news with a photo of the two of them on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEveryone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology\u2026 I gotta tell you he is a real one.\u00a0We wrote a role for him\u2026\u201d Diesel captioned the post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn February 2024, Diesel announced that the next installment in the franchise will be the last<\/a>. \u201cThis grand finale is not just an ending; it\u2019s a celebration of the incredible family we\u2019ve built together,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\n\tStars of said family, which launched with the Diesel\/Paul Walker-led original in 2001, include Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Momoa, Hellen Mirren, Cardi B, John Cena, Jason Statham, Gal Gadot, Ludacris, Bow Wow, Vanessa Kirby, Alan Ritchson and more.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this year, Diesel confirmed that production on the finale \u201cwill finally return home<\/a>\u201d to Los Angeles following the devastating wildfires in January.<\/p>\n
