\n\tFans can expect to spot a familiar face in the final \u201cFast & Furious\u201d movie, \u201cFast X: Part 2<\/a>\u201d: Cristiano Ronaldo.<\/p>\n

\n\tVin Diesel<\/a>, who leads the film franchise as Dominic \u201cDom\u201d Toretto, seemingly confirmed the soccer star\u2019s cameo when he shared a snap <\/a>of the two on his Instagram account.\u00a0In the caption, he wrote, \u201cEveryone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology\u2026 I gotta tell you he is a real one.\u00a0We wrote a role for him\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile little is known about Ronaldo\u2019s potential part in the film (Ronaldo himself has yet to confirm), fans can expect to see \u201cFast X: Part 2\u201d in theaters in April 2027. In addition to Diesel, the eleventh and supposed final film in the action-packed franchise will feature returning stars Dwayne Johnson (Luke Hobbs), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw), Jason Momoa (Dante Reyes), Jordana Brewster (Mia Torretto), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz) and more. In June, Diesel confirmed at FuelFest<\/a> that the character of Brian O\u2019Connor, played originally by Paul Walker, would also return in the film.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFast X: Part 2\u201d will be directed by Louis Leterrier, who previously directed the tenth installment in the franchise, \u201cFast X.\u201d Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel will pen the script. <\/p>\n

\n\tNews of a potential Ronaldo cameo comes months after The Wall Street Journal<\/a> first reported that Universal Pictures imposed a much tighter budget on the film following \u201cFast X,\u201d which took $340 million to make. The tenth film would go on to gross over $700 million worldwide, though it still became one of the franchise\u2019s least profitable chapters. Comparatively, 2021\u2019s \u201cF9\u201d made more than $725 million worldwide on an approximate budget of $200 million.<\/p>\n
