But as reported by GamesRadar<\/a>, fans soon discovered it did a poor job on Fallout. For example, Amazon\u2019s AI appeared to have been fooled by Season 1\u2019s flashback scenes, which it said were set in 1950s America via a monotone text-to-speech-sounding voice. Of course, as all Fallout fans know, those flashback scenes take place in a retro futuristic 2077 \u2014 the year the bombs fell.<\/p>\n There are further mistakes, including the narrator saying Walton Goggins\u2019 The Ghoul gives Ella Purnell\u2019s Lucy MacLean a choice to \u201cdie or leave with him\u201d while on her quest to find her villainous father, Kyle MacLachlan\u2019s Hank, in New Vegas (the setting of Season 2) This makes it sound like The Ghoul planned to kill Lucy if she didn\u2019t go along with him, but in the actual show it\u2019s more a choice of staying or leaving.<\/p>\n The Verge<\/a> reports the Fallout recap alongside those for other shows no longer appear on a series\u2019 detail page when you navigate to the next season. Prime Video has yet to comment.<\/p>\n It\u2019s an embarrassing error for Amazon, which will be keen to avoid any negative headlines in the run up to the hotly anticipated launch of Fallout Season 2. But it\u2019s not the first time the megacorp has raised eyebrows for its corner-cutting use of AI.
