The first new single from Lanarkshire\u2019s Just Joans for a while covers some familiar territory \u2013 the dreamer brought down to earth in a harsh environment, in this case the kid who doesn\u2019t want to be on the rugby field but is\u2026 tough luck son! <\/p>\n

Over a nice set of Blondie-esque riffs (\u2018Denis\u2019 anyone?) David deftly narrates a traumatic match appearance \u2013 \u201cPlease don\u2019t pass it to me, I\u2019m doing just fine where I am\u2026\u201d, with further moans that \u201cI only came \u2018cos they said there\u2019d be Mars Bars\u2026\u201d <\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a great chorus \u2013 \u201cbabababa, here come the rugby boys\u201d to sing along to in that communal post-match shower, lads\u2026<\/p>\n
