Before his coaching career, Hinkley played 132 VFL\/AFL games, including 121 for Geelong and 11 for Fitzroy. He was a three-time Grand Finalist, a two-time All-Australian, and claimed Geelong\u2019s best and fairest in 1992.<\/p>\n
As a coach, Hinkley led Port Adelaide through 297 matches, becoming the club\u2019s longest-serving AFL coach. His earlier work included assistant coaching roles at St Kilda, Geelong and Gold Coast.<\/p>\n
Fox Footy says every game of the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season will stream live and ad-free during play on Kayo Sports.<\/p>\n
