We’re into the final round at the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational, a unique mixed-team event in pro golf.<\/p>\n
For the third year in a row, there are 16 teams at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida, each featuring one LPGA golfer paired up with a PGA Tour golfer.<\/p>\n
Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak led after two days of competition at 19 under, but there’s plenty of teams trying to chase them down come Sunday.<\/p>\n

Keep tabs on the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational leaderboard<\/a> and tee times through Sunday’s final round.<\/p>\n Nelly Korda backed off a short birdie putt on the par-4 15th, and whatever it was that bothered the former No. 1 proved costly as she proceeded to miss wide right. The miss dropped Korda\/McCarthy one shot back of Jennifer Kupcho\/Chris Gotterup, who did birdie the 15th to get to 25 under.<\/p>\n Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak, who are playing two holes back, birdied the 14th to get to 25 under as well.<\/p>\n ‘Modern day grand slam’ on the line<\/p>\n Over night leaders Andrew Novak and Lauren Coughlin are clinging to a share of the lead in Naples. Novak won the Zurich Classic earlier this year with Ben Griffin and joked about what’s on the line should he win a second team event this year.<\/p>\n “Some are calling it the modern day grand slam,” joked Novak after Saturday’s round. “Zurich, Grant Thornton. Jennifer Kupcho and Chris Gotterup now hold a two-stroke lead at 24 under. Lauren Coughlin\/Andrew Novak are in solo second at 22 under while Korda\/McCarthy are 21 under.<\/p>\n Coverage is now live on Golf Channel.<\/p>\n Overnight leaders Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak have some company at the top of the board. Jennifer Kupcho and Chris Gotterup are now 5 under through 7 holes at Tiburon Golf Club and 21 under for the tournament. Kupcho and Gotterup are one of 12 new teams at this year’s event.<\/p>\n Kupcho came into the GTI No. 32 in the Rolex Rankings while Gotterup is No. 28 in the OWGR. Gotterup, 26, won the Scottish Open in July while Kupcho notched her fourth LPGA title in June at the ShopRite LPGA Classic.<\/p>\n The final round of the Grant Thornton Invitational is underway and Sunday’s format is a modified four-ball. The American duo of Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak still hold a one-shot lead over two teams \u2013 Charley Hull\/Michael Brennan and Jennifer Kupcho\/Chris Gotterup.
