Splice<\/a> is set to release a collection of Spitfire Audio<\/a>\u2019s beloved effects and orchestral libraries through its popular Rent-to-Own program.<\/p>\n

The music production platform today announced that Spitfire has joined Xfer\u2019s Serum<\/a> as a Rent-to-Own exclusive on Splice\u2019s plugin marketplace. If you\u2019re new to the program, Rent-to-Own lets users \u201clease\u201d cutting-edge and industry-standard music creation software, meaning you can pay as you go until you own the plugin outright.<\/p>\n

Creators will get immediate access to the full versions of each library with interest-free monthly payments. And once the plan is complete, the licenses are theirs to keep forever, even when your Splice subscription ends.<\/p>\n

The libraries immediately coming to RTO are as follows, with more promised further down the line:<\/p>\n

BBC Symphony Orchestra Professional \u2013 A richly nuanced strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion from the BBC\u2019s world-renowned symphonic ensembleAbbey Road Two: Iconic Strings Pro \u2013 The most famous string sound in the world from Abbey Road\u2019s legendary Studio TwoBBC Radiophonic Workshop \u2013 Historic electronic sounds from the pioneers of sound designEric Whitacre Choir (available 14 August, 2025) \u2013 Ethereal choral performances led by GRAMMY-winning composer Eric WhitacreAIR Studios Reverb (available 14 August, 2025) \u2013 Cinematic reverb captured in the hall that scored Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Wicked<\/p>\n

Featured in the likes of Dune, The Color Purple, and Inception, Call of Duty, and Bridgerton, these plugins are often praised for their depth, texture, and realism. This collaboration also marks the first joint offering since Splice acquired Spitfire Audio<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
