The Red Devils are set to draw the curtain on the Premier League gameweek for a second week running as they host Bournemouth on Monday night<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ugarte is unlikely to make the starting XI of Ruben Amorim<\/a> at Old Trafford, with the midfielder losing his spot in the side.<\/p>\n

The Uruguay international has featured in 10 Premier League matches for the Red Devils this term, but started just two games.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old was an unused substitute as Man United secured a 4-1 success at Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out.<\/p>\n

According to Football Insider<\/a>, Manchester United have devised their strategy surrounding Ugarte ahead of the January transfer window.<\/p>\n

The report claims that the Red Devils are willing to accept suitable offers for the midfielder during the New Year trading point.<\/p>\n

It is understood that Ugarte is not up to the standards set by head coach Amorim, who wants more gifted players in the engine room.<\/p>\n

As a result, it is believed that funds from the sale of the Uruguay man will be used to fuel transfer swoops in 2026.<\/p>\n

Man Utd are said to have a number of high-profile targets, including Nottingham Forest and England midfielder Elliot Anderson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the team still under the reign of Erik ten Hag<\/a>, Ugarte made the switch from Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester United in August 2024.<\/p>\n

Known for his aggressiveness and ball-winning ability, the 24-year-old was meant to be the beating heart of an improved Red Devils midfield.<\/p>\n
