BELTON, Texas \u2014 Belton High School head football coach Brett Sniffin has retired after six seasons leading the Tigers, Belton ISD confirmed.<\/p>\n
Sniffin guided Belton to a 5-6 record this season. The Tigers reached the playoffs but were eliminated in the first round with a 63-21 loss to Iowa Colony.<\/p>\n
During his tenure, Sniffin achieved several milestones, including earning his 100th career coaching victory in 2023. That same year, he led Belton to its first outright district championship since 1998, a significant achievement for the program.<\/p>\n
