The 2026 USA<\/a> Men\u2019s Eagles Sevens 18-man player pool has been revealed ahead of the HSBC SVNS 2 season opener in February, with Paris Olympian Lucas Lacamp and captain Stephen Tomasin among those returning.<\/p>\n

Coach Zack Test has selected a familiar squad to compete in the second division of the three-tier SVNS model. The SVNS 2 season begins in Nairobi, Kenya, on February 14-15, before heading to Montevideo on March 21-22 and Sao Paulo on March 28-29.<\/p>\n

USA Rugby has extended contracts to 15 returning players and three newcomers, eager to make their mark in the international sevens arena. These 18 players will ive and train at the USA Rugby High Performance Center in Chula Vista, California.<\/p>\n

Tucker Trickey, Lucas Pattinson and Ryan Santos are the new faces in the USA residency set up. Trickey has already represented the USA at RugbyTown 7s and the PanAm Games but now looks to debut for the Eagles in a SVNS tournament.<\/p>\n

Santos played for the Sevens Eagles in 2024\/25 but didn\u2019t reside in Chula Vista due to club and Cambridge University commitments. Pattison has graduated to the senior setup after coming through the USA Rugby High Performance Pathways.<\/p>\n

Aaron Cummings, Ben Broselle, Orrin Bizer<\/a>, Adam Channell, Will Chevalier<\/a>, David Still<\/a> III, Faitala Talapusi<\/a>, Jack Wendling, Uluamu Niutupuivaha<\/a>, Jake Broselle, Porter Goodrum, Pita Vi, Marcus Tupuola<\/a>, Lacamp and captain Tomasin are the others in the player pool.<\/p>\n

These 18 players will be eligible for selection during the SVNS 2 campaign and the World Championships if the USA qualify. Test is the head coach, while Valenese Malifa<\/a> is an assistant. Petter Baker and Pat Blair<\/a> will also coach in supporting roles.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re focused on performing in a way that stays true to our values and is reflected through our daily actions,\u201d Test said.<\/p>\n

Achieving that level of performance will position us to accomplish our ultimate objective: earning our return to SVNS 1.<\/p>\n

With the firepower and X-factor of Pita Vi and Porter Goodrum, paired with the experience and composure of Steve Tomasin and Will Chevalier, we have a dynamic group capable of dictating the game through not only their tactical awareness and skillset but also their invaluable experience and natural talent.<\/p>\n
