In fact, two games were postponed. That included the much-anticipated Section 3 showdown pitting undefeated Manheim Central at Lancaster Catholic. That game is now slated for Jan. 2. Here is Monday\u2019s roundup, plus some notables:<\/p>\n<p>SECTION 2<\/p>\n<p>Warwick 64, Conestoga Valley 53 \u2014 A statement win for the host Warriors, who made their 29-23 halftime lead stand up, and hand the Buckskins \u2014 one of the preseason favorites in the section hunt \u2014 their second straight league setback. Grace Myers poured in a career-high 22 points and Mia Warfel\u00a0drained three 3-pointers and scored 16 points for Warwick, which is with Ephrata and Cocalico in the lead pack. Jazzlin Sanders matched her career-high with 13 points and Leah Caldwell chipped in with 10 points to pace Ephrata\u2019s balanced attack. Kasey Weimer scored 13 points and Hayley Sheroky added 12 points for Northern Lebanon, which kept pace in what is shaping up to be a whale of a section race. Hannah Mumper scored 7 points for the Indians. FYI: Weimer (811) joined the 800-point club and Sheroky (711) joined the 700-point club, as those seniors angle to reach 1,000 career points.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>NONLEAGUE<\/p>\n<p>Annville-Cleona 42, Lancaster County Christian 12 \u2014 The Dutchmen sprinted to a 10-0 first-quarter lead and built a 22-4 lead at the break, and then used an 11-2 third-quarter spurt to seal the deal and earn a road win. Addison Sanchez (season-high 12 points) and Savannah Kleinfelter (season-high 11 points) keyed A-C, which won its third game in a row after a 0-2 start.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cocalico 50, Exeter 47 \u2014 Eagles vs. Eagles, and host Cocalico outscored Exeter 29-26 in the second half to eke out its fifth victory in a row. Kira Lehman (18 points), Corinne Fair (four 3-pointers, 14 points) and Izzy Rios (season-high 11 points) paced Cocalico, which was deadlocked 21-21 at the half, and trailed 37-36 heading into the fourth quarter. Winner there gets a leg-up in the race. \u2026 Fun nonleague matchup when undefeated Manheim Central hosts Cocalico, which will bring its 5-game winning streak to town; Barons eliminated the Eagles in the <a href=\"https:\/\/lancasteronline.com\/sports\/highschool\/basketball\/district-3-girls-basketball-roundup-manheim-central-tops-cocalico-advances-to-class-5a-quarterfinals-video\/article_9e24106c-eda5-11ef-9d2c-9779a225ec02.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">first round of the D3-5A playoffs last February<\/a>.\u00a0 \u2026 Elco and Conestoga Valley will be right back at it 24 hours later in nonleague games, coming off section setbacks on Monday night. \u2026 Former Section 4 rivals \u2014 Mennonite and Linden Hall \u2014 will collide in Lititz.
