R\u00d8DE CallMe leverages Vortex\u2019s SIP-based CallMe Codec platform \u2014 widely used across the professional broadcast sector \u2014 to deliver ultra-low latency, stereo-quality audio over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, without the need for third-party software or external gear.<\/p>\n<p>Once updated, users can connect two R\u00d8DECaster devices directly or invite external contributors via a web link or QR code. The browser-based interface provides secure, high-quality links for remote participation, with full support for SIP interoperability with third-party equipment.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00d8DE CEO Damien Wilson said the integration \u201cremoves constrictive technical barriers\u201d for creators, enabling professional-grade remote contribution with minimal setup. Ian Prowse, managing director at Vortex, noted that the integration reflects Vortex\u2019s ongoing commitment to \u201cmaking broadcast-quality IP audio accessible to a broader community of content creators.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vortex\u2019s role in powering R\u00d8DE CallMe is evident in the system\u2019s scalability and technical backbone.
