Isaac Dulgarian maintains his innocence.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for the \u201cMidWest Choppa,\u201d Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) remains unconvinced. That\u2019s why it voted to extend Dulgarian\u2019s suspension<\/a> on Tuesday, affording regulators more time to investigate \u201cconduct which is deemed by the commission to reflect a discredit to unarmed combat.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs you know, it has been alleged in correspondence with the state of Nevada Athletic Commission that there are grounds deemed by the commission supporting the temporary suspension of our client, Isaac Dulgarian,\u201d attorney James Hobbs said in a written statement to NSAC (via MMA Junkie<\/a>). \u201cWhile Mr. Dulgarian denies any claims of conduct reflecting discredit in the field of unarmed combat, he consents to another extension of the temporary suspension.\u201d<\/p>\n

NSAC will revisit the case when it reconvenes on Jan. 20 in Las Vegas. Until then, Dulgarian is barred from competing and will likely be questioned by the FBI<\/a> at some point during the investigation.
