The Melbourne Stars have named their first 14-player squad of BBL|15, as they prepare to open their season against the Hobart Hurricanes at the MCG.<\/p>\n
Led by captain Marcus Stoinis, the Stars will have some experienced names in their line-up, with the likes of Glenn Maxwell, Hilton Cartwright and Peter Siddle all included in the extended squad for Thursday night\u2019s match.<\/p>\n
Leg-spinner Mitch Swepson, who has played 87 BBL games with the Brisbane Heat, has also been selected for what would be his first game in green.<\/p>\n
The Stars will welcome back international trio Joe Clarke (Eng), Tom Curran (Eng) and Haris Rauf (Pak), with all three players having represented the club in the past.<\/p>\n
The clash with the reigning champions will get underway at 7:15pm (AEDT).<\/p>\n
