The rematch of mixed martial arts between “swimming instructor fighter” Oh Jung-eun (Young-Jim) and “high school fighter” Jung Min-ji (Team Geum-cheon) will be held on Saturday, December 20th at “KMMA36 Daegu.”<\/p>\n

The two fought for the first KMMA women’s flyweight title on November 22, but it ended in a draw after a close game going to extra time. If Oh Jeong-eun, the current KMMA women’s superstar champion, beats Jung Min-ji, she will be the first KMMA women’s team to win two weight class titles.<\/p>\n

KMMA is a mixed martial arts organization created by UFC commentator Kim Dae-hwan and former UFC, Road FC, ONE, and Spider Jiu-Jitsu commentator Jung Yong-joon. It has been held every month since October 2022 to provide an environment comparable to that of overseas amateur players in Korea.<\/p>\n

Road FC player Kim Young-hoon (Kim Dae-hwan MMA), who won the SBS entertainment program “Pure Fighter,” will play the KMMA light heavyweight championship match with Son Bum-seok (Kyungsung University Team Mad). The KMMA featherweight title returned by Kim Ji-kyung (AOM) while signing with Road FC will be contested by Lim Yoo-hong (shield MMA) and Kim Ji-hoo (MMA factory main office).<\/p>\n

Japan’s Ishitsuna MMA will send four players, including Mao Takada and Keigo Matsumoto, who won the “Popeye Union Member KMMA34 Daegu” on October 18 to the “Popeye Union Member KMMA36 Daegu.”<\/p>\n

Ishitsuna MMA’ is a training team that fostered Nakanishi Tokitaka and others who advanced to the semi-finals of Road to UFC season 3 bantamweight in 2024. RTU is an Asian talent discovery project in which tournament winners are eligible for UFC regular contracts.<\/p>\n

The KMMA vs. Ishitsuna 4:4 match between Korea and Japan will also include the championship match and the title challenger match. KMMA flyweight champion Moon Soon-soo (Young Jim) will play defense against Mao Takada. Park Hwa-rang (Kingdom Ho-gye) and Keigo Matsumoto will compete for the Bantamweight title match.<\/p>\n

Kim Sung-bae, chairman of the Popeye Association and CEO of the KMMA Fighter Agency, and Song Min-jae, CEO of the KMMA Main Sponsor, will invite Japan’s Ishitsuna MMA to the competition to help Korean players gain more experience.<\/p>\n

Daegu Popeye Association starts treatment on Sundays and holidays in 2026. Chairman Kim Sung-bae said, “Every weekend, I was heartbroken to hear the news of injuries or complaints of pain after the match. In the new year, I’m happy to be able to treat it right away without waiting until weekdays,” he said.<\/p>\n

In commemoration of the last competition in 2025, Chairman Kim Sung-bae will invite \u25b2 Hwang Joon-ho (Blacklist MMA) \u25b2 Choi Soon-tae (MMA Kim Dae-hwan), \u25b2 Kwon Ji-hoo (Team Mad Main Hall) \u25b2 Lee Young-woong (Kwang Jim Main Hall) to present the ‘Popeye Union Member KMMA Hall of Fame’ belt.<\/p>\n
