{"id":356099,"date":"2025-12-18T13:15:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T13:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/356099\/"},"modified":"2025-12-18T13:15:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T13:15:08","slug":"marc-marquez-on-motogp-future-the-ambition-will-always-be-the-same","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/356099\/","title":{"rendered":"Marc Marquez on MotoGP future: \u201cThe ambition will always be the same\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At 32 years old and with 13 MotoGP seasons behind him, Marc Marquez is closer to the end of his racing career than the beginning.<\/p>\n<p>The newly crowned nine-time world champion will return to the grid next season for the final year of his current factory <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/teams\/ducati-lenovo-team\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ducati<\/a> contract.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/racer\/1654\/marc-marquez\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marquez<\/a> admits his future remains uncertain. But if he\u2019s still racing, it\u2019s because he has the \u201csame ambition\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s hard to know what will happen in the future, but if I\u2019m still racing, the ambition will always be the same,\u201d Marquez said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve always believed that 365 days a year you wake up and go to sleep thinking about how to improve.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf course, there are days when you take a break and that\u2019s good for your mind too, but rest is also about how you can perform better afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I\u2019m still racing, it will be to give one hundred percent, with the same ambition, that\u2019s what I\u2019ll aim for.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe next chapter is next year, 2026, and that\u2019s when we\u2019ll try to fight for another world title.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marquez needs just one more championship to equal Giacomo Agostini\u2019s record of eight premier-class titles.
