\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Peacemaker\u2018s Sol Rodriguez<\/a> and Annabelle franchise actress Lou Lou Safran are set for the vampire Giallo-inspired feature Illomen<\/a> which recently wrapped production in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Nathalia Pizarro directed and co-written film follows a young widow whose life begins to fracture after a sudden tragedy, drawing her into a confrontation with a mysterious, century-old vampire. Booboo Stewart<\/a> (Twilight,\u00a0X-Men) also stars.<\/p>\n

\n\tPic is produced by HasBeen Productions, New American Picture Show, and Intrinsic Value Films.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis film was designed to be felt as much as seen,\u201d says Pizarro. \u201cBy embracing a saturated, giallo-influenced palette and a visceral, hands-on visual language,\u00a0Illomen\u00a0pushes classical genre into a raw, maximalist space between beauty and annihilation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tProducers on the project include Brent Mata and Dax Campbell of HasBeen Productions. (The Rose: Come Back to Me, It Happened: The Judy Tenuta Story), Nathalia Pizarro and\u00a0Alix Brown\u00a0of New American Picture Show The Girl on a Motorcycle, (a 2025 Beyond Fest selection) that helped launch her into the genre space, Megan Freels Johnston, Aimee Schoof, and Isen Robbins of Intrinsic Value\u00a0(Queen of the Ring,\u00a0The Last Thing Mary Saw), and Max Neace (What We Do Next)<\/p>\n

\n\tThe screenplay was written by Alex Baumgardner,\u00a0Pizarro, and Talar Baker, from a story by Brent Mata.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe supporting cast includes Joshua Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), Cameron Cowperthwaite (Fallout), Bonnie Aarons (The Nun), Dax Campbell (S.W.A.T.), Tayler Buck (Annabelle: Creation), Fivel Stewart (Atypical), Jesse Hughes (frontman of Eagles Of Death Metal),\u00a0and a special appearance by The Black Lips as the OldBoys Bar Band.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe movie was shot by Brent Mata, with special makeup effects by Vincent Van Dyke (Halloween,\u00a0Nope), costumes by Chantal Thomas (Oscar-nominated for\u00a0Everything Everywhere All At Once), production design by David Dean Ebert, and music supervision by Alix Brown.<\/p>\n
