With the warm weather comes a warning about leaving vulnerable people and pets in our cars on hot days.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been revealed that Tarneit (15) and Point Cook (12) are among the top 10 regions in the state in terms of call outs to people trapped in cars.<\/p>\n
Ambulance Victoria\u2019s state manager of regional emergency management Matt Coomber said though the overall number of incidents was down across the state, there are still major concerns.<\/p>\n
\u201cA parked vehicle can become deadly in minutes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Inside a car, the temperature can double in minutes. That rapid rise can cause serious injury or death long before help arrives.<\/p>\n
