{"id":357580,"date":"2025-12-19T04:54:10","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T04:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/357580\/"},"modified":"2025-12-19T04:54:10","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T04:54:10","slug":"multiple-test-for-live-action-tangled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/357580\/","title":{"rendered":"Multiple Test For Live-Action &#8220;Tangled&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/gracey-to-direct-live-action-tangled.jpg\" data-caption=\"Disney\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"464\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/gracey-to-direct-live-action-tangled.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"gracey-to-direct-live-action-tangled\"\/><\/a>Disney<\/p>\n<p>Screen tests are reportedly underway in London for the live-action adaptation of Disney\u2019s 2010 animated movie \u201cTangled\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The studio reportedly conducted screen tests and chemistry readings in the UK last week for the lead roles of would-be princess Rapunzel and outlaw thief Flynn Rider.<\/p>\n<p>Among those who tested for Rapunzel were Teagan Croft (\u201cTitans\u201d),Sarah Catherine Hook (\u201cThe White Lotus\u201d), Olivia-Mai Barrett (\u201cInvasion\u201d) and Freya Skye (\u201cZombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires\u201d).  Lola Tung (\u201cThe Summer I Turned Pretty\u201d) was in the mix but didn\u2019t test.<\/p>\n<p>Milo Manheim (\u201cDisney\u2019s Zombies\u201d), Charlie Gillespie (\u201cSplitsville\u201d) and Scottish-Indonesian newcomer Gilli Jones (\u201cSummerwater\u201d) are in the mix for Flynn.  Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi voiced the Rapunzel and Flynn Rider parts in the original movie.<\/p>\n<p>The other key role, that of Mother Gothel who keeps Rapunzel locked up in the tower in order to use her magical hair to stay forever young, was originally going to have Scarlett Johansson in the part.
