The Seattle Seahawks<\/a> are headed back to the playoffs, and have a chance at much more.<\/p>\n

Entering Week 16, the Seahawks had 11 wins on the year, which was tied for the most in the NFC with NFC West rival, the Los Angeles Rams<\/a>. Seattle hosted Los Angeles on Thursday night in a battle of two teams fighting for not only the division title, but the No. 1 seed as well.<\/p>\n

Down 16 at one point, the Seahawks executed a comeback victory that will have huge impact on both the division race and the race for the NFC’s No. 1 seed. The NFC West has been a juggernaut all year, with the San Francisco 49ers<\/a> also making a case to win the division. The Arizona Cardinals<\/a>, however, are already looking towards next year.<\/p>\n

With the win, the Seahawks clinch a playoff spot and overtake the Rams for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. As the only team in the conference with just three losses, Seattle now controls its own destiny to earn a bye in the NFL playoffs.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks are still fighting other teams for the top spot, like the Rams, 49ers and Chicago Bears<\/a>. But with two games to go, they have the inside track.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks’ final two games of the year are both on the road against teams looking to make the playoffs.
