Jhye Richardson\u2019s Perth Scorchers return has been locked in, with the speedster coming into the side for their clash with Brisbane Heat at the Gabba.<\/p>\n

After being unavailable for the Scorchers\u2019 season-opening win over Sydney Sixers in Perth on Sunday as he joined Australia\u2019s Test side for their preparations ahead of the third Test of The Ashes in Adelaide, Richardson linked up with his teammates in Queensland on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

He replaces another fast bowler in Mahli Beardman, whose two overs in Perth\u2019s first game were taken for 28 runs, in Perth\u2019s sole change.<\/p>\n

The Heat won the toss and chose to bowl first, leaving Perth\u2019s power-packed batting line-up with the task of putting a big total on the scoreboard.<\/p>\n

Richardson said he was \u201cso nervous\u201d ahead of his first competitive top-level hit-out since a Big Bash game in January of last year, after which he opted to have stabilisation surgery on his troublesome right shoulder.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t played for a long time, out here, away game, you always feel a little bit more pressure,\u201d he told Fox Cricket.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce I get out there, hopefully I\u2019ll be alright.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the beauty of bowling a lot of overs is you can get into a rhythm, you can feel better about yourself, you can feel more confident, so I think I\u2019ve got that (under) my belt which hopefully holds me in good stead.\u201d<\/p>\n

He has built back to fitness in the early stages of this season by playing Premier Cricket for Fremantle and two red-ball games against England\u2019s travelling reserves, the England Lions.<\/p>\n

Brisbane have regained the services of Matthew Kuhnemann after he missed their season-opening defeat to Melbourne Renegades with a side strain.<\/p>\n

The Australian left-arm spinner has come into the Heat\u2019s side in place of Paddy Dooley.<\/p>\n

The Scorchers will be looking to continue a dominant recent record over the Heat, having won 11 of the last 13 games between the sides.<\/p>\n
