His interest in cycling took him to races around the UK until in 2016 he photographed the UCI World Championships in Qatar. You can\u2019t be straight on because there are still riders doing laps of the track. I\u2019d only arrived about four minutes before winner Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot came through so it was a frantic end to a frantic day. The moto drops you at the back gate and I had to leg it across the track to get in position for this side-on shot.
