Let\u2019s start with this NEMwatch<\/a> snapshot at 13:45 with \u2018Market Demand<\/a>\u2019 for NSW at 12,137MW.<\/p>\n

That level\u2019s only ~400MW or so below what the earlier forecasts had pegged for peak \u2018Market Demand<\/a>\u2019 today \u2026 but clearly it\u2019s going to blast right through that mark (unless some unforeseen forecast cool change eventuates).<\/p>\n

We can see the big discrepancy clearly in this collage of two instances of \u2018Forecast Convergence<\/a>\u2019 in ez2view<\/a>, focused on \u2018Market Demand<\/a>\u2019 in NSW \u2013 the P5 forecast at the top and the P30 forecast at the bottom:<\/p>\n
