The Subiaco Lions<\/a> have secured the talents of shock draft slider Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves<\/a>, with the youngster joining the Western Australian side for the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

Hibbins-Hargreaves is set to follow in the footsteps of his stepfather, Mark Haynes, who won four premierships with Subiaco (2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008) and was a two-time club best-and-fairest winner (2006 and 2007).<\/p>\n

Hibbins-Hargreaves was ranked by\u00a0Zero Hanger<\/a> as the 25th best prospect in the 2025 draft class, yet the midfield-forward dual-role threat was passed on by all 18 clubs in late November.<\/p>\n

At his best, Hibbins-Hargreaves is a clutch match-winner who knows where the big sticks are, capable of taking a strong overhead mark, while also showing his ball-winning as an inside midfielder in his draft year.<\/p>\n

Hibbins-Hargreaves’ 2025 season was highlighted by a dominant 30-disposal, four-goal performance as co-captain of the Dandenong Stingrays as well as a near match-winning four-goal haul for Vic Country against Western Australia to open his U18s National Championships.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old joins Subiaco in a bid to bolster their scoring threat, following a disappointing 2025 campaign for the club. The Lions finished the WAFL season with a record of four wins and 14 losses, and kicked 1002 points, the fewest of any WAFL side.<\/p>\n

Hibbins-Hargreaves joins recently delisted Richmond defender Jacob Blight<\/a> as Subiaco’s list for 2026 begins to take shape.<\/p>\n
