To mark this longstanding name bowing out of the sport, we asked F1 Hall of Fame journalist David Tremayne for his best memories of the Swiss team\u2019s three decades of Grand Prix racing\u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"typography-module_body-s-regular__ul7F5 typography-module_md_body-m-regular__d9VRg typography-module_lg_body-l-regular__dPa5z\">I\u2019ve been lucky enough to work for several F1 teams over the years, writing their daily press releases at races. Of them all, <a class=\"text-brand-hot-red underline decoration-1 hover:decoration-[3px]\" data-f1rd-a7s-click=\"rich_text_atom_click\" data-f1rd-a7s-context=\"eyJhY3Rpb25UeXBlIjoicGV0ZXJfc2F1YmVy4oCZc19saW5rX2NsaWNrZWQiLCJjbGlja1RleHQiOnRydWUsInBhdGgiOiJodHRwczovL3d3dy5mb3JtdWxhMS5jb20vZW4vdGVhbXMva2ljay1zYXViZXIiLCJwYXRoVHlwZSI6ImludGVybmFsIn0=\" href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/teams\/kick-sauber\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Peter Sauber\u2019s<\/a> became my favourite. Which is funny, because when I told friends in the paddock of my new job, several of them turned their noses up.
