Ask anyone who can’t eat gluten<\/a> and they’ll tell you that some days, it’s a nightmare.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Thankfully though, more and more gluten free options<\/a> are starting to fill our grocery story shelves, including today’s announcement that Shapes are joining the line-up!<\/p>\n

So, let’s take a look at some iconic supermarket snacks and staples of our fridges, freezers and pantries that are available in a gluten-free alternative in Australia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\ufeffNow, this one is big.<\/p>\n

In July 2025, Arnott’s announced that their beloved\ufeff Shapes Chicken Crimpy are now available in a gluten free option!<\/p>\n

“Shapes Chicken Crimpy is consistently one of Arnott’s top five products, so we knew there was desire to make this moreish, melt in your mouth, snack readily available for our gluten free community,” Arnott’s Business Director, Ranita Cowled said.<\/p>\n

The \ufeffproduct will be available in grocery stores nationwide later this month.<\/p>\n

Tim TamsYou can now buy gluten-free Tim Tams. (Woolworths)<\/p>\n

Arnott’s released a gluten-free Tim Tam for coeliac fans back in October 2023 \u2013 and it tastes just like the original.<\/p>\n

The biscuit company now boasts six gluten-free favourites, aiming to indulge more Australians in tasty moments.<\/p>\n

“For the quarter of Aussies who avoid gluten in their diets, Arnott’s is proud to be able to provide a range of great tasting products,” a spokesperson for Arnott’s told 9Honey.<\/p>\n

“The product has started to appear on shelves, with wider availability from November at Coles, Woolworths, IGA and Independent retailers.”<\/p>\n

Scotch Fingers(Woolworths)<\/p>\n

The intergenerational classic has found its new gluten-free form, with Arnott’s describing it as having a “buttery, sweet base, with a hint of vanilla in a biscuit that still “snaps” for sharing.”<\/p>\n

Kellogg’s cereal\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kellogg’s has a gluten-free range that is endorsed by Coeliac Australia.<\/p>\n

It includes classic cereals such as Special K, Sultana Bran, Coco Pops and more.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Magnum Ice Cream<\/p>\n

Not all of these delicious ice creams come in a gluten-free form \u2013 however, some of the line’s crowd-favourite flavours, including Double Ego caramel, are.<\/p>\n

The rich and delicious biccie’s gluten-free version “has a rich cocoa flavour, the perfect crunch, and a melt-in-your-mouth sensation,” Arnott’s says.<\/p>\n

The classic Shortbread Cream is perfect for a cup of tea and is now available in a gluten-free version.<\/p>\n

Arnott’s described it as “filled with a deliciously smooth cream, sandwiched between two buttery vanilla shortbreads.”<\/p>\n

Two-minute noodles have long been inaccessible to those who can’t eat gluten.<\/p>\n

Fantastic has released a gluten-free option that comes in chicken flavour and costs the same as the original.<\/p>\n
