Jordan Larsson was linked to Celtic over three years ago now.<\/p>\n

The son of Celtic legend<\/a> Henrik, Jordan Larsson<\/a> has had to live in the shadow of his father but in fairness to him, he has carved out a career in his own right.<\/p>\n

Now at FC Copenhagen, the Swedish international striker has just won the Danish Superliga and the Danish Cup last season as Larsson scored 11 goals in 33 games for L\u00f8verne.<\/p>\n

Contracted till the summer of 2027, Larsson was last linked to Celtic<\/a> in July 2022 but those rumours quickly cooled.<\/p>\n

Just over a month later, Celtic dropped interest in Larsson<\/a> and he joined FC Copenhagen where he has won two league titles and two league cups.<\/p>\n

And speaking about his international teammate, Benjamin Nygren<\/a> has sent the 28-year-old striker a Celtic transfer message.<\/p>\n

Nygren is a close friend of \u2018amazing guy\u2019 Larsson and has told him that despite being linked to Celtic years ago, he still has time to make the dream move to Paradise.<\/p>\n

Nygren told The Scottish Sun<\/a>, \u201cThe last time I spoke with Jordan was when we were away with the national team a month ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, I know about his dad \u2014 the King of Kings, right?<\/p>\n

\u201cI have seen many YouTube clips of him scoring a lot of goals for Celtic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t met Henrik, but Jordan is an amazing guy and he is also doing very well in his football career.<\/p>\n

Referring to Larsson being linked to Celtic over the past few years, Nygren had a transfer message to his international teammate, \u201cYeah, and it\u2019s never too late, you know! <\/p>\n

\u201cBut that\u2019s not my job. That\u2019s for the sporting director.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Jordan Larsson told Benjamin Nygren after he joined Celtic<\/p>\n

Clearly, the two players have a close bond. Playing in the Danish Superliga as opponents and as teammates in the Swedish national side has helped forge a real friendship.<\/p>\n

And when Nygren joined Celtic<\/a>, Larsson sent the 24-year-old winger a short, but sweet, message on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Larsson simply said, \u201cCongratulations, brother. \ud83d\ude4c\ud83c\udffd\u201d<\/p>\n

Not as prolific as Henrik, Jordan still boasts a decent goalscoring record of 98 goals in 356 games. <\/p>\n

Will he ever score in the famous green and white Hoops at Celtic Park?
