Nova 93.7\u2019s<\/a> long-running breakfast trio Nathan Morris, Nat Locke and Shaun McManus are stepping outside the studio and onto the page, releasing their first children\u2019s book, What If?\u2026 We Wrote A Book, in collaboration with Telethon.<\/p>\n

The book will be officially launched on Thursday, 22 August, with a live broadcast of Nathan, Nat & Shaun from Brentwood Primary School, marking Book Week 2025.<\/p>\n

Following the launch, the book will be available for purchase via the Telethon website, with 100% of proceeds supporting children and families in need across Western Australia.<\/p>\n

A new chapter for Perth\u2019s top-rated breakfast show<\/p>\n

Best known for their quick wit and loyal following, the trio behind Nathan, Nat & Shaun have spent more than 15 years bringing humour and conversation to Perth mornings. Now, they\u2019re using their storytelling in a different format, crafting a story aimed at young readers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen someone suggested we write a book, I assumed they meant colouring one in. But here we are, published authors!\u201d said McManus. \u201cWe somehow jammed our wild imaginations into a single story, and if it makes kids giggle and helps support WA families and Telethon, then that\u2019s a win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Illustrated by Bridget Acreman, What If?\u2026 We Wrote A Book blends original characters, surreal twists and a playful tone, elements that will feel familiar to longtime listeners of the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, we talk a lot of nonsense on the radio, so we thought, why not put that nonsense in a book?\u201d said Locke. \u201cIt\u2019s got a dog with an appetite problem, a footy-obsessed kid and a vampire bat, so it\u2019s basically Shaun\u2019s autobiography!\u201d<\/p>\n

Supporting a long-standing cause<\/p>\n

All profits from the book will be donated to Telethon, which enters its 58th year in 2025. The fundraising initiative supports a wide range of services, research programs and organisations dedicated to improving the lives of sick, vulnerable and disadvantaged children across Western Australia.<\/p>\n

Nathan, Nat & Shaun have previously supported Telethon through various campaigns and events.<\/p>\n

The book represents an extension of that commitment, using their platform and public profile to engage younger audiences while raising money for a cause they\u2019ve backed for years.<\/p>\n
