The official website for DIGIMON BEATBREAK<\/a>, the new television anime<\/a> for the Digimon<\/a> franchise<\/a>, unveiled a new promotional video and visual for the anime on Friday. The video reveals more cast members for the anime, as well as staff, and the anime’s October 5 premiere date on Fuji TV<\/a> and other channels. The website describes the new anime’s story:<\/p>\n

“e-Pulse,” which is generated by human thoughts and emotions, was used as the energy source for the AI support device “Sapotama.” From the shadows of this remarkable development, terrifying monsters appear. Digimon are living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse. Tomoro Tenma is drawn into an extraordinary experience after meeting Gekkomon, who suddenly appears from his Sapotama. While living together with Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the bounty hunting team “Golden Dawn,” Tomoro renews his resolve. What new future will be forged by humans and Digimon? <\/p>\n

The cast members (including the previously announced Miyu Irino<\/a> and Megumi Han<\/a>) include:<\/p>\n

Miyu Irino as Tomoro Tenma. 15 years old. Tends to take a critical look at everything. Influenced by his older brother, he often taps out rhythms with his drumsticks. He joins the Golden Dawn for a certain purpose.
