Andrei Arlovski is not a social media expert, but he did his best to share his thoughts on his recent brawl<\/a> with idiot influencer Jack Doherty \u2026 via over 50 Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n

Arlovski was on hand Friday night at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida for the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua boxing match. So was Jack Doherty, a YouTube prankster who is known for antagonizing people and then hiding behind his bodyguard. He shouldered past the former UFC heavyweight champ, who reacted with confusion. Then one of Jack\u2019s friends took a swing at \u201cThe Pitbull\u201d and it was on.<\/p>\n

Doherty would blame Arlovski<\/a> for starting the incident, but the footage doesn\u2019t really back that up. In an endless torrent of Instagram Stories<\/a> \u2014 filmed, it appears, as Andrei picked up a Christmas tree \u2014 the 46 year old BKFC fighter was surprisingly even-keeled about the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, I didn\u2019t beat anyone, I just stopped the threat,\u201d he said. \u201cThey were threatening me, my wife, my kid, and I have another friend. I did what I was supposed to do, what every man is supposed to do: stop the threat.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess because they were looking for content for their website and I guess I was the victim,\u201d he added. \u201cThey thought maybe it was going to be easy content for YouTube. Maybe that\u2019s why. Maybe I\u2019m old. Maybe because it was like three idiots and a big bodyguard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arlovski suggested maybe Jake Paul could book him versus Doherty\u2019s bodyguard in a boxing match.<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw him walking but I didn\u2019t pay attention \u2026 he kind of landed one punch,\u201d he said. \u201cSo I have to be more alert and pay attention to people that are around. That\u2019s the lesson. That guy he was sneaky, he sucker punched me and I didn\u2019t accept this f–king sucker punch, to be honest with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

He never did get his hands on Doherty.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a successful escape,\u201d he said. \u201cHe was successful in hiding and running away behind his bodyguard. He did a great job.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the end, Andrei doesn\u2019t even consider it a real brawl.<\/p>\n

\u201cFight? They just tried to film some content,\u201d he said. \u201cYoutubers looking for some content. Typical \u2026 I didn\u2019t want to knock anyone out. I just wanted to protect my family from those that threaten me and that\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI just changed my phone, so I was worried,\u201d he said about his one-handed fighting style. \u201cI worried about my phone, new one, expensive one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arlovski is still fighting after 26 years as a pro and is set to fight Ben Rothwell<\/a> in the main event of BKFC\u2019s February KnuckleMania event.<\/p>\n
