172 – Sameer Minhas<\/a> registered the highest individual score<\/a> in the final of an Under-19 tournament. He surpassed Quinton de Kock<\/a>‘s 146 against Pakistan in the final of a Tri-nation tournament in 2012.<\/p>\n

Minhas’ 172 is also the highest score for Pakistan<\/a> in youth ODIs. Shahzaib Khan held the record earlier, when he smashed 159 against India in the 2024 Under-19 Asia Cup. The 172 is also the highest individual score India have conceded<\/a> in youth ODIs.<\/p>\n

9 – Number of sixes hit by Minhas is the most by a batter<\/a> in a youth ODI tournament final. Minhas again went past de Kock, who had hammered six sixes in the 2012 Tri-nation tournament against Pakistan. In all youth ODIs, only Shahzaib has hit more sixes in an innings for Pakistan (10).<\/p>\n

191 – India’s margin of defeat against Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup final is their biggest ever<\/a> in youth ODIs in terms of runs. Their previous worst was a 112-run defeat against South Africa in the 2002 Under-19 World Cup. These are the only two times India have lost by more than 100 runs in youth ODIs.<\/p>\n

In multi-team youth ODI tournament finals, India’s loss by 191 runs is the third-biggest<\/a> margin of defeat.<\/p>\n

347 for 8 – Pakistan’s total is the highest team score<\/a> in a youth ODI tournament final. It is also Pakistan’s fourth-highest total<\/a> in youth ODIs.<\/p>\n

The score of 347 is also the highest total conceded by India<\/a> in all youth ODIs.<\/p>\n

26.2 – Number of overs India batted to be bowled out for 156. It is the second-lowest number of overs<\/a> India have batted in a youth ODI when they have been bowled out.
