{"id":363965,"date":"2025-12-22T06:16:18","date_gmt":"2025-12-22T06:16:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/363965\/"},"modified":"2025-12-22T06:16:18","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T06:16:18","slug":"team-18-inks-major-sponsor-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/363965\/","title":{"rendered":"Team 18 inks major sponsor deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANTON De Pasquale will remain in DeWalt colours next season after Team 18 signed a two-year extension with Stanley Black &amp; Decker.<\/p>\n<p>That will take the relationship between team and sponsor to 12 years in total.<\/p>\n<p>DeWalt had underpinned the #20 entry of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-45-Scott-Pye\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Scott Pye<\/a> in seasons 2020-21 before shifting to the other side of the garage to De Pasquale\u2019s predecessor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2-Mark-Winterbottom\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mark Winterbottom<\/a> (who had previously been backed by sister brand Irwin).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStanley Black &amp; Decker has been part of Team 18\u2019s journey for more than a decade now, and this extension means a great deal to everyone in our organisation,\u201d said team owner Charlie Schwerkolt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/1-18-scale-2025-supercars-championship-18-chevrolet-camaro-anton-de-pasquale-model-pre-order?utm_source=SRBuyButton&amp;utm_medium=website\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ACD18C25A_8d8ac68e-5f2a-4f73-9124-8dae78ac0b67_1024x1024.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo reach 12 years together speaks volumes about the strength of the relationship and the value we\u2019ve built over that time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c2025 was a breakthrough season for our team, and to have DeWalt and Stanley Black &amp; Decker commit to the next phase of our story, especially as we step into the Chevrolet Racing homologation role, gives us enormous confidence heading into 2026 and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De Pasquale added: \u201c2025 was a really special season for me personally and for everyone at Team 18.
