\n The experienced AFL executive has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief of Football and Innovation.\n <\/p>\n
Melbourne Football Club has appointed Ned Guy in the newly created role of Chief of Football and Innovation.<\/p>\n
Guy joins the Demons from the AFL where he has spent the last four years as Head of Football Performance, List Management and Engagement, playing a critical role in CBA negotiations, strategic football projects and overseeing the Laws of the Game Committee.<\/p>\n
Prior to his time at the AFL Guy was the List Manager at Collingwood Football Club for five years, where he landed following a successful career as a player manager, including founding his own player management business. <\/p>\n
Melbourne Football Club CEO Paul Guerra said the club was thrilled to welcome someone of Guy\u2019s expertise to the club. <\/p>\n
\u201cNed is a highly capable and analytically minded executive with over 15 years of
experience across the AFL industry,\u201d said Guerra.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe comes to the Demons with a rare 360-degree perspective of footy, having
operated as a Player Manager, a club-based General Manager of List and most recently as a senior leader within the AFL. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe are excited by Ned\u2019s ability to impact and support our football programs, while also utilising his expertise across the business more broadly.\u201d<\/p>\n
