Draymond Green will never back down from a little trash talk.<\/p>\n
In his\u00a0latest episode of \u201cThe Draymond Green Show,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0Green responded to some fan mailbag questions. One asked:\u00a0\u201cWhat\u2019s the best back and forth you\u2019ve had with a fan courtside?\u201d<\/p>\n He pointed to one game at the Washington Wizards.<\/p>\n \u201cI think one of the best had to be in DC a few years back. I was sleepwalking, and\u00a0them\u00a0guys got me going,\u201d Green said. \u201cI finished the game with 24 or something like that. We went on to win.\u201d<\/p>\n Green said it was after the Warriors beat the Celtics in the Finals, so that would point to\u00a0Golden State\u2019s\u00a0127-118 win over Washington on Jan. 16, 2023<\/a>. Green finished with 18 points.<\/p>\n Although his point estimate was a bit off,\u00a0Green did turn it on in the fourth quarter<\/a>, scoring 11 of the Warriors\u2019 34 points in the final frame.<\/p>\n He made sure the Wizards\u2019 fans who were talking to him knew he was grateful for the motivation\u00a0in an arena that\u00a0wasn\u2019t\u00a0giving him much in the first place.<\/p>\n \u201cThey were like, \u2018Draymond, you\u2019re a bum, you\u2019re this, you\u2019re that.\u2019 Like,\u00a0oh\u00a0really? Thank you for getting me going in this dead ass gym \u2013 that is the Washington Wizards\u2019 home arena,\u201d Green\u00a0explained.\u00a0\u201cThank you,\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0about to bust y’all’s ass now, and I politely did, and they shut the hell up and they did not want to talk anymore.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAnd it was\u00a0absolutely incredible.\u00a0I mean every play \u2013 offensively and defensively.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
