The 2025 Test calendar is officially in the books, and the final leaderboard of global point scorers paints a fascinating picture.<\/p>\n

Sitting at the very top\u2014by the slimmest of margins\u2014is Japan\u2019s Seungsin Lee<\/a>, who finishes the year with 122 points. It was the Kobelco Steelers\u2019 fly-half\u2019s right boot that came to the fore in the Brave Blossoms\u2019 final, and most crucial, match of the year, kicking 20 points in Japan\u2019s 25-23 win over Georgia<\/a> in Tbilisi to move into the top 12 in the world and earn a Band 2 seeding at the 2027 World Cup.<\/p>\n

Breathing down his neck was Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu<\/a>, who ended 2025 on 120 points after a breakout run with South Africa. The Rassie Erasmus<\/a> decision to trust him as a frontline playmaker has paid off handsomely; he only had 10 points to his name in 2025 before his South African record haul of 37 points against Argentina<\/a> at the end of September. He did not look back from there, rounding the year off with 28 points against Wales. His missed conversion from an Eben Etzebeth<\/a> try in the final minutes of the 73-0 win in Cardiff deprived him of levelling Lee\u2019s total.<\/p>\n

Santiago Carreras finished third with 111 points, doing enough in November to overtake France\u2019s Thomas Ramos. Behind him sits one of the more intriguing storylines of the year: Spain\u2019s Gonzalo L\u00f3pez finishing level with Ramos on 110.<\/p>\n

Further down the list, Santiago Videla<\/a> (88) kept Chile<\/a> competitive in tight matches, while Ireland\u2019s Sam Prendergast<\/a> (75) and Romania\u2019s Alin Conache<\/a> (73) both enjoyed breakthrough years as frontline decision-makers.<\/p>\n

The top ten is completed by All Black Damian McKenzie<\/a> (69) and Canada\u2019s Peter Nelson<\/a> (67), each the heartbeat of their national sides.<\/p>\n
