Malaysian fan-favorite Jihin \u201cShadow Cat\u201d Radzuan<\/a> returns to action against undefeated Brazilian buzzsaw Gabriela \u201cGabi\u201d Fujimoto in an atomweight MMA showdown at ONE Fight Night 40: Buntan vs. Hemetsberger on Prime Video<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Broadcasting live in U.S. primetime on Friday, February 13, from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, this women\u2019s clash pits a battle-tested divisional mainstay against a surging promotional newcomer eager to make an immediate statement.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Radzuan stands as one of the best female fighters to emerge from Malaysia. The 27-year-old came out of the gates hot, using her strong wushu background to win four of her first five bouts in the world\u2019s largest martial arts organization.<\/p>\n

After a close unanimous decision loss to reigning ONE Atomweight MMA World Champion Denice \u201cThe Menace\u201d Zamboanga<\/a> at ONE: MARK OF GREATNESS<\/a> in 2019, she built serious momentum with three straight victories against Bi \u201cKiller Bee\u201d Nguyen,<\/a> Mei \u201cV.V\u201d Yamaguchi<\/a>, and Itsuki \u201cAndroid 18\u201d Hirata<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cShadow Cat\u201d then performed admirably but fell short against her now-teammate Stamp Fairtex<\/a> at ONE on Prime Video 2<\/a> in 2022. That experience fighting the elite led her to relocate and hone her skills at Fairtex Training Center in Thailand.<\/p>\n

The move paid immediate dividends. In her next match at ONE Friday Fights 35<\/a> in 2023, she showcased an improved grappling arsenal by finishing Jenelyn \u201cThe Graceful\u201d Olsim<\/a> with an armbar in the third round.<\/p>\n

However, there was still work to be done. The judo black belt struggled against high-level judokas, dropping her next two contests against Chihiro Sawada<\/a> and, most recently, Macarena Aragon<\/a> at ONE Fight Night<\/a> 30 in April.<\/p>\n

Now, Radzuan looks to snap her skid and keep her name in the running within the competitive atomweight division.<\/p>\n

The challenge comes from a red-hot Fujimoto, making her ONE Championship debut with everything to prove.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old Brazilian has displayed well-rounded skills on the regional circuit, compiling a pristine 7-0 professional record that earned her an invite to the global stage.<\/p>\n

Fighting out of Rio de Janeiro\u2019s KO Squad MMA, Fujimoto has become known for her relentless takedowns and punishing ground-and-pound. Her reputation as a finisher stems from elite jiu-jitsu paired with explosive wrestling that dictates where the fight takes place.<\/p>\n

On February 13, Radzuan aims to reestablish her foothold as a contender in the loaded women\u2019s atomweight division. For Fujimoto, a victory over one of the division\u2019s most respected veterans would establish her as a legitimate divisional threat.<\/p>\n
