Every team on the Formula 1 grid changed their livery at least once during the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

But who produced the best design \u2013 and who would have been better off not bothering?<\/p>\n

McLaren: Monaco GP
\n\"Lando<\/a>Lando Norris, McLaren, Monaco, 2025<\/p>\n

McLaren\u2019s first special livery of the 2025 season was based on its M7A Formula 1 car.<\/p>\n

McLaren: British GP
\n\"Lando<\/a>Lando Norris, McLaren, Silverstone, 2025<\/p>\n

For its home race McLaren produced the latest version of its chrome livery.<\/p>\n

McLaren: United States GP
\n\"Oscar<\/a>Oscar Piastri, McLaren, Circuit of the Americas, 2025<\/p>\n

More than half the grid changed their liveries for F1\u2019s visit to the Circuit of the Americas<\/a>. McLaren produced this one-off design to highlight sponsor Gooogle.<\/p>\n

McLaren: Abu Dhabi GP
\n\"Lando<\/a>Lando Norris, McLaren, Yas Marina, 2025<\/p>\n

For the final race of the season McLaren made a minor colourful tweak to its regular design.<\/p>\n

Ferrari: Miami GP
\n\"Charles<\/a>Charles Leclerc, Ferrari, Miami International Autodrome, 2025<\/p>\n

Marking one year since its tie-up with title sponsor HP, Ferrari blended more of its white and blue colours into its paintwork for the Miami Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

Ferrari: Italian GP
\n\"Lewis<\/a>Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari, Monza, 2025<\/p>\n

For its second home race of the season at Monza, Ferrari marked 50 years since Niki Lauda\u2019s<\/a> first world championship victory with the team by reviving the livery which appeared on his 312T.<\/p>\n

Red Bull: Japanese GP
\n\"Max<\/a>Max Verstappen, Red Bull, Suzuka, 2025<\/p>\n

Red Bull \u2013 who abandoned their plans to change liveries at two rounds last year \u2013 made a single change of colour scheme for the home race of its power unit supplier Honda, celebrating their successful collaboration which yielded two constructors\u2019 championships and four drivers\u2019 titles for Max Verstappen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mercedes: British GP
\n\"George<\/a>George Russell, Mercedes, Silverstone, 20225<\/p>\n

Mercedes added a splash of orange to their car at the British Grand Prix to match a new concept car, itself based on a design from the sixties.<\/p>\n

Aston Martin: United States GP
\n\"Fernando<\/a>Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin, Circuit of the Americas, 2025<\/p>\n

Among the many special liveries for the United States Grand Prix was this \u201cscience-inspired\u201d design by Aston Martin.<\/p>\n

Alpine: United States, Brazilian and Mexican GPs
\n\"Pierre<\/a>Pierre Gasly, Alpine, Circuit of the Americas, 2025<\/p>\n

Alpine incorporated a bright yellow section to its cars late in the season, highlighting Franco Colapinto\u2019s<\/a> sponsor.<\/p>\n

Alpine: Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi GPs

For the final three rounds of the season Alpine produced the latest iteration of its familiar pink colour scheme.<\/p>\n

Haas: Japanese GP
\n\"Esteban<\/a>Esteban Ocon, Haas, Suzuka, 2025<\/p>\n

Haas revealed this design inspired by cherry blossom for the Japanese Grand Prix, reflecting its increasingly close relationship with Toyota.<\/p>\n

Haas: Canadian GP

Formula 1\u2019s newest team \u2013 at least until next year \u2013 commemorated its 200th grand prix at the Canadian round this year by reviving its original livery.<\/p>\n

Haas: United States GP
\n\"Oliver<\/a>Oliver Bearman, Haas, Circuit of the Americas, 2025<\/p>\n

Haas made a final livery change for its home race at the Circuit of the Americas, where it added stars to its usual design.<\/p>\n

Racing Bulls: Japanese GP

Racing Bulls made several design changes during the season. This one for the Japanese Grand Prix was one of its more subtle alterations.<\/p>\n

Racing Bulls: Miami GP
\n\"Liam<\/a>Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls, Miami International Autodrome, 2025<\/p>\n

For the Miami Grand Prix Racing Bulls chose a much more striking change, switching to a largely pink colour scheme.<\/p>\n

Racing Bulls: British GP

This graffiti style adorned the two Racing Bulls cars at Silverstone.<\/p>\n

Racing Bulls: United States GP

Another drastic change of livery for Racing Bulls in Austin.<\/p>\n

Racing Bulls: Las Vegas GP

Racing Bulls produced its final livery change for the Las Vegas Grand Prix with this striking \u2018holographic\u2019 design.<\/p>\n

Williams: British GP

Williams made a modest livery change for its home race at Silverstone, adding neat stripes to the side of its nose.<\/p>\n

Williams: United States GP
\n\"Carlos<\/a>Carlos Sainz Jnr, Williams, Circuit of the Americas, 2025<\/p>\n

Later in the year Williams opted for some more drastic livery changes. This design for the United States Grand Prix was a throwback to its 2002 colour scheme.<\/p>\n

Williams: Brazilian GP

At Interlagos, the Williams cars appeared in a special livery for sponsor Gulf.<\/p>\n

Williams: Las Vegas GP

Finally for the race under lights at Las Vegas, Williams went for a black design with splashes of colour.<\/p>\n

Sauber: Miami GP

In its final season under its current identity, Sauber produced three livery variations, beginning with this revisions at the Miami Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

Another tweak to its usual design came in Spain.<\/p>\n

Sauber: Las Vegas GP

Finally Sauber used a farewell chequered flag design at Las Vegas \u2013 the final race of the season at which it could display the logos of title sponsor Stake.<\/p>\n
