The Melbourne Renegades are out to seek revenge after their loss to the Hobart Hurricanes just eight days ago,<\/a> in a Monday night clash set to host Beau Webster\u2019s long-awaited homecoming.<\/p>\n

Webster, who hails from Snug in Tasmania, has been temporarily released from Australia\u2019s Ashes Test squad to take part in the Hobart fixture to play his first game for the Hurricanes since BBL|06. <\/p>\n

The 32-year-old headlines three inclusions to his side\u2019s squad for the match, with Matthew Wade and Hugo Burdon also in to replace the injured Tim David who has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament<\/a> with a grade two hamstring strain. Jackson Bird and Will Prestwidge have also been omitted from the 14-man squad.<\/p>\n

As for the Renegades, Caleb Jewell returned to the squad at the expense of Fergus O\u2019Neill, though wasn\u2019t selected in the final XI.<\/p>\n

Eight days is a long time in cricket, just ask Melbourne Renegades opener Josh Brown.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old\u2019s last hit in the middle ironically came against the Hurricanes in Geelong over a week ago, where he struggled through eight balls before departing for a duck.<\/p>\n

Come Monday night though, those memories were long gone. The right-hander smashed 16 runs from the opening over of the match to put the hosts\u2019 bowling attack on notice straight away, before racing to 26 off jsut 12 balls.<\/p>\n

A Nathan Ellis slower ball was ultimately his downfall, but the promising signs were well and truly back for the opener who first starred in the Big Bash for the Brisbane Heat in BBL|13.<\/p>\n
